We are Bound by Fate - a family owned and operated Farm Brewery, located in the historic village of Schuylerville, NY - site of the British surrender at the Battle of Saratoga, turning point of the American Revolution. Bound by Fate Brewing was born out of a vision that good beer connects us to the past, and brings us together to forge the future.

History is writ in beer - and American Craft Beer nowadays is a celebration of all of it. While Prohibition devastated the US beer industry, and the consolidation that followed finished off the smaller players, the void left behind created a terrible thirst. It is that thirst which drives us, and has done so since homebrewing was legalized by President Carter. A legion of homebrewers has been tinkering since; reclaiming our various cultural inheritances, resurrecting that which was nearly forgotten, and pushing the boundaries of what is possible (and what is delicious). Most of the nation's best Craft Breweries emerged from their ranks. Bound by Fate is excited to be part of this tradition.

Brett, Evan, Ryan and Pam believe that family is the most important thing in our lives. Being closer to family is what brought us all to this small village. After leaving home and living all over, we returned to the area where the boys were born to raise our family and open a brewery.
