Join Hudson Crossing Park, NYS Canals and Bound by Fate Brewing for a clean-up of Lock 5 Island on Sunday, April 24, for the Canal CleanSweep, a day of service for the Champlain Canal and Hudson River.

Volunteers will meet at the Hudson Crossing Park Pavilion. Parking is available at the Hudson Crossing Park parking lot, which is located beyond Champlain Canal Lock 5. You will see the HCP gate and parking lot is on the right. We ask all Sweep volunteers to wear sturdy shoes or boots, clothing that they can get dirty, and to bring a hat, sunscreen, a full reusable water bottle, and a face mask, work gloves and hand sanitizer.

In partnership with New York State Canals Corporation, New York State Parks and Trails, Bound by Fate Brewing, Adirondack Mountain Club, and Compas Life Upstate of Mind, volunteers will be treated to t-shirt and tote bag giveaways as well as 10% off their dine-in tab at the Bound by Fate Taproom after the sweep with proof of participation.
